On November 7-8, 2013, Typhoon Haiyan (aka known as Typhoon Yolanda) struck the Phillipines affecting more than 14 million people. While Kaplan’s Certified Education Provider (KCEP) operating in the Philippines, ICSEC, was fortunately preserved, at Kaplan Test Prep International (KTPi) 's  thoughts were with those who remained impacted.

As part of its commitment to the community, KTPi launched an initiative to donate a portion of proceeds for one month from every course sale (Nov. 18 - Dec 18) to Oxfam in support of the typhoon victims. An informational message was posted on KTPi’s global and UK websites (www.kaptestglobal.com and www.kaptest.co.uk ) informing visitors of the initiative.

Proceeds were donated to Oxfam on December 31, 2013.  At KTPi we believe our responsibility to help others extends beyond the classroom, and we are proud to have contributed to this worthy cause. Our thoughts remain with the survivors of the typhoon, as they work towards recovery.
